অনির্দিষ্ট কোন কিছু বোঝাতে There ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• There is a boy in front of the house.
• There are some books on the shelf.
• There is a cat under the table.
• There are flowers in the garden.
• There is a cup of tea on the kitchen counter.

যে সকল বাক্যে কোন নির্দিষ্ট  Subject থাকে না সেখানে It ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• It’s raining outside.
• It’s time for dinner.
• It’s a beautiful day.
• It’s your turn to speak.
• It’s not far from here.

যে সকল Noun-এর Gender হয় না তাদের Pronoun হিসেবে It ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• When the cat sees a mouse, it chases.
• If the phone rings, it means someone is calling.
• Once the computer finishes the task, it notifies.
• When the wind blows, it rustles the leaves.
• If the doorbell rings, it indicates someone at the door.
